Prague’s Must-Visit Museums for Painters

Prague is home to several galleries and museums that will inspire you, they offer a diverse range of art spanning different periods and styles. Here are some of the main galleries and museums in Prague that I think painters may find particularly inspiring: There are a lot of smaller commercial galleries I’ll look at in another post. But if you’re in town for a few days, and you’d like a good dose of some artistic culture, then these won’t dissapoint. The entrance is also reasonable and make sure to ask for a discount if you are over 65, but don’t be surprised if they also ask for verification (passport), this is common here. Students can also get into these museums and galleries by using their student id card.

  1. National Gallery in Prague – Veletržní Palace:
