In this two-hour class, you will learn how to mint NFTs from a painting you create. We will start by introducing the concept of NFTs and their significance in the art world. You will then create a painting that will be used to mint your own NFT. We provide the materials for the painting, and will focus on creating a simple black and white composition. Next, we will discuss the technical requirements for creating an NFT from a painting and provide a step-by-step guide for preparing the painting for minting, including adding metadata. Finally, we will walk you through the process of minting your own NFT using a blockchain platform. By the end of the class, you will have a basic understanding of NFTs and the ability to mint your own NFT from a painting you create.
Veriditas and Landscape Painting

This seven-hour workshop offers students the opportunity to explore the concept of veriditas in the context of landscape painting. Veriditas, a term coined by the medieval mystic Hildegard von Bingen, refers to the vitality and creativity inherent in all living things.
Through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on painting exercises, students will explore the concept of veriditas as it relates to landscape painting. They will learn how to infuse their paintings with a sense of life and vitality, creating landscapes that capture the essence of the natural world.
The workshop will cover a range of topics, including color theory, composition, and brushwork, as well as the use of different painting media, such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with different techniques and styles, exploring their own unique creative voice in the process.
By the end of the workshop, students will have gained a deeper understanding of the concept of veriditas and how it can be expressed in landscape painting. They will have created a series of paintings that capture the vibrancy and vitality of the natural world, and developed the skills and knowledge to continue exploring this theme in their future work.

Monster Mash-up
In this exciting course, kids will unleash their creativity and let their imaginations run wild as they learn how to create weird and wacky creatures using a variety of action figures and other materials. Inspired by the character Sid from Toy Story, who creates bizarre monsters out of his toys, students will learn how to repurpose old toys to create new and unique creatures.
Throughout the course, students will explore different techniques for modifying and combining toys to create their own custom creatures. They will experiment with painting, gluing, cutting, and sculpting to transform familiar toys into something entirely new.
