Course Description:
Embark on a journey to explore the dynamic relationship between the human figure and its interior environment in our ‘Figure in Interior’ class. Inspired by the renowned methods of Hans Hofmann, this course offers an in-depth study into the principles of spatial composition, and the intricate interaction of light, color, and form. Participants will learn to adeptly capture the essence of figures within an interior context, focusing on the sophisticated balance and tension between the figure and the surrounding space. This class is designed to cater to a wide range of skill levels, providing a unique opportunity to refine observational capabilities and gain a comprehensive understanding of figure drawing within spatial compositions. The class will utilize a mixture of both live models, and other figure/ground studies
